Tenacity is the quality of being determined to do something in spite of difficulties and hurdles. If you are determined to achieve something in spite of the difficulties and risks involved in it, you have tenacity. Holding on to something in spite of difficulties and dangers is tenacity. Mountain climbers do not stop until they reach the top, only because of their tenacity, that is, the quality of firmness or determination.
- History is full of examples of people who succeeded in achieving what they had wanted to achieve, only because of their tenacity. This quality of not giving up their efforts to achieve something is responsible for their successes.
