William Woods University has a prestigious equestrian program, and was the first school in North America to offer a four-year degree in equestrian science. Additionally, it is among a small number of schools that offers a bachelors degree in interpreting/American Sign Language. Another feature of the school is that nearly all undergraduates in the traditional program receive a $5,000 scholarship for participating in the LEAD program, which fosters learning outside of the classroom. Additionally, William Woods offers a number of graduate degrees in Education and Business that are designed for working adults.
