In 2014, Westminster had 23 students compete in the Sochi Winter Olympic Games, more than any other college/university in the country. The close, personal mentoring relationships with faculty are what set the college apart from the rest of the campuses in the state. Westminster has more than 70 academic programs, including 38 undergraduate majors and 12 graduate degree programs. Some popular programs include: the aviation program (including our own flight center at Salt Lake International Airport); Honors; the McNair Scholars program, an elite national graduate school preparation program for low-income, first generation, and underrepresented students; and May Term, a short academic term that is free to students who are enrolled full-time and paid in full for the previous spring and fall semesters.
