Ursuline College has been educating students in a Catholic tradition since 1871. With a student population comprised of 90% women and 10% men, Ursuline is a women-focused institution that offers an inclusive environment for all learners. Set on a picturesque campus featuring a fountain on a lake, Ursuline College is located in Pepper Pike, Ohio, just 20 minutes from downtown Cleveland and University Circle - both are major cultural arts hubs. Campus highlights include the newly renovated Pilla Student Learning Center providing the latest in state-of-the-art classroom technologies. Ursuline features many liberal arts majors including psychology, biology and art while fields in the professions are also popular, including nursing, social work, and art therapy. The RN to BSN program is now available in the classroom or entirely online. Ursuline offers eleven NCAA Division II athletic programs and all students can work out in the new state of the art Sister Diana Stano Athletic Center. The art therapy, chemistry and others arts and sciences programs hold forth from the new Parker Hannifin Center for Creative and Healing Arts and Sciences. The heart of an Ursuline education is the Ursuline Studies Program. This nationally recognized curriculum focuses on developing values, voice and vision. As with all course offerings, Ursuline Studies courses offer small class sizes ensuring that all students participate; a few course offerings are available as partial or wholly online. In addition to a wide variety of degree and certificate programs Ursuline offers accelerated graduate degrees including a three-three law school program with Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Ursuline is also favored by transfer students who want mainly day classes. For those wanting to return to college the Ursuline College Accelerated Program (UCAP) was founded in 1998 to support working adults looking to return to finish their bachelor's degree. Offering ten undergraduate programs and nine starts per year, adults are able to take one course every 5-weeks, earning a minimum of 27 credit hours per year. UCAP recognizes that learning occurs outside the classroom and through prior learning assessment, additional credit can be awarded. For all transfer students Ursuline offers a liberal transfer policy so that you receive all the credit you deserve. From your first class to your last, your academic advisor is with you every step of the way to keep you on track and on pace to graduation. All students will want to check out the Florence ODonnell Wasmer Gallery for professional and student art exhibits and they will benefit from the many resources and study spaces found in the Ralph M. Besse Library. There are three resident halls and the dining hall has multiple healthy options including a breakfast or salad bar at each meal.
