University of Evansville

The University of Evansville offers an academically challenging atmosphere with a personalized approach not found on a larger campus. We strive to prepare students personally and professionally, equipping them to make an impact in their chosen career, the community, and our world. Committed to personal attention and positive outcomes, our average class size is 18 with a low student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1. From the moment students join the UE family, we work to ensure they receive an excellent return on their investment. In fact, 93 percent of the class of 2016 were employed or in graduate school within months of graduation. The UE Center for Career Development provides comprehensive services, from developing a career action plan to creating a professional resume, to help students prepare for success after graduation. UE students receive a broad education from talented faculty members with a passion for teaching and a willingness to collaborate across majors. Our curriculum is grounded in the liberal arts, ensuring exposure to the sciences, humanities, arts, and social sciences, yet we also offer opportunities to study in various professional fields. Through the Schroeder School of Business, the College of Education and Health Sciences, the College of Engineering and Computer Science, and the William L. Ridgway College of Arts and Sciences, we offer 80 different majors and more than 100 areas of study. The majority of our students, from 46 states and 56 countries, live on or within walking distance of our residential campus, where they can also participate in and build leadership skills through an array of organizations and activities. When students choose UE, they can expect a life-transforming, educational experience that prepares them to engage the world as informed, ethical, and productive citizens. All of this is backed by the UE Guarantee which ensures that every student will graduate in four years, will receive a scholarship, will get an internship, will engage one-on-one with professors, and will have the opportunity to study abroad.
