Founded in 1923, Schreiner University is a private liberal arts university nestled in the beautiful Texas Hill Country in Kerrville, a 60-minute drive from San Antonio.Primarily undergraduate, Schreiner offers a personalized, integrated education that prepares its students for meaningful work and purposeful lives in a changing global society. Schreiners graduate programs include Master of Business Administration and Master of Education. Schreiners Master of Education degree is distinctive in that its students graduate in only one year attending class on campus one Saturday per month and participate in online instruction. No night classes. No weekday classes. Schreiners MBA degree is designed as a two-year program; classes meets on campus two days a week and the rest is online.Schreiner takes prides in being accessible to most students, even those whose families financial resources are very limited. Ninety-nine percent of Schreiners freshmen have received some form of financial aid and the average financial aid package for full-time undergraduates is more than $25,000. Most find the actual cost of a Schreiner education very close to what they would pay at a Texas public 4-year school.Schreiner also offers a rich campus life with more than 30 student organizations that encourage students to develop leadership skills and to apply classroom knowledge to real life challenges.
