Lock Haven University, one of 14 public higher education institutions that are members of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, is a school with a student population of 5,000 on its main and Clearfield Branch campuses. The school is located on the banks of the Susquehanna River and along the Bald Eagle Mountains in central Pennsylvania.
