John Paul the Great Catholic University
Located in Southern California, JPCatholic offers an outstanding education in the culture-impacting fields of creative media, business, and theology. Our unique curriculum combines a Catholic liberal arts education with hands-on coursework in new media and entrepreneurship. We offer small class sizes; faculty who are both dedicated teachers and accomplished in their industry; a supportive campus environment; and a network of accomplished and enthusiastic mentors. But JPCatholic offers something more - the intimacy and flexibility of a small college combined with the strong commitment to Catholic orthodoxy. JPCatholic's mission is to Impact Culture for Christ by forming students as creators and innovators, leaders and entrepreneurs at the intersections of media, business and theology. A rich sacramental and prayer life is at the center of our students' daily life, with the Eucharist being at the very core. The teachings of Jesus Christ form our foundation, shaping who you become and preparing you to make a positive difference in the world. Students have ample opportunity to develop their spiritual life with daily Mass, Rosary, adoration, retreats, and various outreach ministries to serve the community. Students choose from diverse programs such as Film Directing, Screenwriting, Animation, Game Development, Acting, Journalism, TV Production, Marketing, Creative Entrepreneurship, and more. Our year-round curriculum prepares students for the pace of life after graduation and allows them to finish their Bachelor's degree in just three calendar years. The curriculum and campus life encourages a union of faith and reason, creativity and enterprise, providing opportunities to put faith into action, and turn ingenuity into business. JPCatholic curriculum brings together art and philosophy, humanities and scripture, leadership and design thinking, helping you gain an understanding of the synergies each can forge in the real world.
