Graduate degrees are offered in the Arts, Business Administration, Education, the Sciences, and Social Work. HPU also offers Associates degrees through the College of Extended and Interdisciplinary Education on Oahu military installations.Hawaii Pacific University's campuses are located on the island of Oahu.The University's core campus is in the heart of Honolulu's downtown business and financial district, within the center of the state's capital district. It is home to the College of Business and the College of Liberal Arts. Students have ample opportunities to make the transition from student to worker in the various business offices, not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, financial institutions, and accounting firms and law firms in the area. Many of the University's adjunct instructors are practitioners at the top of their professions who bring contemporary, real-life experiences into the classroom.The Hawaii Loa campus is located on the windward side of the island and is nestled at the base of the beautiful Koolau Mountains. It is home to the College of Health and Society and the College of Natural and Computational Sciences. Various shopping malls, restaurants, beaches, and historic and scenic sites also are within reasonable distance and accessible by Honolulu's public transportation system.In accordance with the 2014 university master plan, Hawaii Pacific University is consolidating its academic programs downtown. This transition will take place over the next few years. HPU is investing in the urban student experience that will better serve the community. Oceanic Institute (OI) of Hawaii Pacific University is a world leader in the advancement of sustainable aquaculture technologies, and it is located at Makapuu Point. With its emphasis on research and teaching, OI is the ideal place for education, investigation, and hands-on training in aquaculture, marine, environmental, and life sciences, as well as other multi-disciplinary areas of the University.Hawaii Pacific University has a diverse student body which is composed of students from every state in the U.S. and 65 countries.
