With an enrollment of nearly 4,500 students, Colorado State University-Pueblo is a fully accredited, regional comprehensive state university that provides social, educational, and cultural opportunities to its constituents. The 275-acre campus is located in Pueblo, an ethnically and culturally diverse community of more than 120,000 people, offering numerous art and cultural attractions and recreational options. CSU-Pueblo provides relevant professional coursework, hands-on research experiences and superior instruction with a small faculty to student ratio, and state-of-the-art technology through 70 fields of study. In addition to the Pueblo campus, CSU-Pueblo offers classes in several majors to meet the needs of working adults and military personnel in Colorado Springs at Fort Carson and a Tower location off of I-25 at Circle Drive. Courses are offered in pursuit of the following degrees -- Sociology, Sociology/Criminology emphasis, Social Work, Business Administration-Management -- as well as a variety of lower division general education courses. Student Life offerings include a Distinguished Speakers Series, concerts by Grammy Award winners like Ludacris, Gloriana, All American Rejects, and Andy Grammer in addition to movies, outdoor pursuits like ice climbing, hiking, and kayaking, and comedy performances like Second City. How about: A five-time Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and NCAA 2014 Division II National Champion Football team, which catapulted from start up to national champion in just seven years, or a club racquetball team that has won 17 National Championships.
