There are many paths to success, and Central Penn College helps students find the one to best serve their needs. Whether they are a high school student ready to step into their future or already in the workforce and looking to change direction in their career, Central Penn has an option to get them where they want to be. The college offers associate, bachelor's and master's degrees, and a wide range of academic program offerings from physical therapist assistant to criminal justice and information technology. Classes are offered day and night, both on-ground at their Summerdale campus and Lancaster Center, and online using innovative technology to connect students to professors. Central Penn provides a holistic educational experience. With theatre performances, networking events, and over two dozen clubs, there are a lot of opportunities to meet and engage with fellow classmates. USCAA Division II athletics provide interested students the opportunity to play college level sports like soccer, baseball and volleyball. Central Penn's men's basketball team won a fifth consecutive national tournament bid in 2016, placing second in the tournament. And, the men's baseball team made college history in 2017 when they received a bid to participate in the National Championship tournament - a first for Central Penn's baseball team. In addition, renovations on a portion of student housing were recently completed. These new super suites feature seven single-bedrooms and a large common area, allowing students to have privacy while still connecting with their suite-mates. A college education is an investment in a student's future, one that can be daunting to think about. Central Penn helps ease the stress of paying for college along the journey to a degree. More than $500,000 in institutional scholarships are awarded annually to those who qualify. That is in addition to the more than $250,000 disbursed by The Central Penn Education Foundation every year. Their Foundation works tirelessly to raise more funds to help students make the cost of college more manageable. In addition, a dedicated staff of financial aid experts are ready to provide students with information and answers to their questions. They can help students search for additional scholarships and grants, apply for aid and fill out forms, making the process as painless as possible. When it comes time to start putting the skills and knowledge acquired at Central Penn to use in the workforce, the college's Career Services Department supports students along the way, even after graduation. Individualized career assistance is available to all Central Penn College students and alumni. Services include help during internship and job searches, career shifts or if a student just needs career advice he/she can trust. When a student starts his/her educational journey at Central Penn College, he/she becomes part of the college's close-knit community. Small class sizes put students face-to-face with professors, and they have dedicated staff to assist one-on-one with problems that might arise. As part of their mission, Central Penn has helped students down their path to success since 1881.
