Central Methodist University

Founded in 1854, Central Methodist University is the only United Methodist Church-affiliated university in Missouri. It welcomes students of any age, faith and diverse background to study on its main campus in Fayette. CMUs wooded, historic campus of more than 100 acres hosts a faculty of scholars and mentors dedicated to providing extraordinary attention to the individual learner. CMU offerings range from graduate studies to a broad range of bachelor and associate degree programs to high school dual credit opportunities, with a total enrollment of more than 5,800. A residential campus with a capacity of more than 700 students, CMU offers a broad range of co-curricular activities including music, intercollegiate athletics, theater, intramurals, Greek life and much more. Its location in rural mid-Missouri, roughly midway between St. Louis and Kansas City, makes the campus convenient and accessible. CMU academic programs also are available at many branch locations across the state, or through its expanding portfolio of online programs available in more than 40 states.
