Nestled in the majestic Appalachian Mountains in southwest Virginia, Bluefield College is a Christ-centered learning community developing transformational servant leaders. A third teacher, Dr. Jennifer Jones (93), received Virginias 2015 Governors Outstanding Faculty Award, the highest honor for Virginia college educators. A passion for justice...Erin DeHart (03), who attended law school after Bluefield College, soon became a Virginia Commonwealths attorney. Today, at the young age of 33, she is administering justice as a judge for Virginias 27th Judicial District Court. A passion to serve...Brittany Garton (11) has dedicated herself to a life of service with Project Ruth in Romania. At the Ruth School, Garton helps provide education, meals, clothing, medical care, and most of all hope to Roma (Gypsy) children, who face high levels of discrimination because of their ethnicity. As co-founder and president of Full Sail University, he has developed an award-winning institution for those pursuing careers in media, entertainment and the arts.
