Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is a private, independent institution committed to graduating the best health care minds, since 1881. The College's programs offer distinct, but interconnected paths for an education in health. Programs include a six-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree; four-year bachelors degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Public Health, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biomedical Technology and Clinical Laboratory Sciences; and Master's programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Health Outcomes Research, Molecular Biosciences, Cytotechnology and Molecular Cytology, and Clinical Laboratory Sciences. Joint B.S./M.S. degree options provide students with the opportunity to earn a Master's degree in just five years. The Doctor of Pharmacy and Master's in Pharmaceutical Sciences programs are also offered at the College's satellite campus in Colchester, Vermont (greater Burlington area).Students enrolled at all levels may expand their experience outside of the classroom through opportunities such as work in the College's student-operated pharmacies, collaboration with faculty on groundbreaking research projects or publications in professional journals. Students are encouraged to leverage the College's extensive alumni network to gain work experience in pharmacies, hospitals, laboratories, and other health care settings. An ACPHS education offers a well-rounded experience that prepares graduates to successfully enter the workforce or continue their education in graduate or professional school.
